Earn Your Private Pilot Certificate
With Arise Aviation at Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS), our team of instructors are passionate, gifted, and genuinely care about your goals, how you learn, and the pace that’s best for you.
Why Train With Arise Aviation?
Arise Aviation operates out of Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS) — one of the most demanding and rewarding training environments in the country. At 6,187 feet elevation, students train at high density altitude from day one, developing real skills that low-altitude pilots simply never encounter. The Front Range’s dynamic weather, mountain terrain, and active Class C airspace at KCOS mean our graduates are genuinely prepared for the full spectrum of real-world flying — not just checkride conditions.
Unlike corporate pilot factories, Arise Aviation is Colorado Springs’ only flight school owned and operated by a veteran A&P mechanic and CFI/I couple. Every aircraft is personally signed off by an owner-mechanic. Every student works with our gifted instructors who are passionate about his or her unique learning experience. That’s the Arise difference.
